Your Love Is My Weapon

Chapter 360

Chapter 360

Ryan looked up. "Miss, I'm sorry."

Laura lowered her head. "You..."

Before she could finish speaking, Ryan had already run away. She looked up at Ryan, who was

running away. She found it a little funny. Just when she turned around and was about to leave, she saw

the person standing in front of her. She was stunned. "You..."

Caspar saw Ryan stopped for a while. He walked over and found that it was Laura.

They knew each other ten days ago. Laura felt embarrassed due to the farce at the engagement party,

so she went to the bar alone to drink. That day, Caspar was in a bad mood because he couldn't find

Alice, so he was also at the bar.

Laura looked innocent and pretty. A few punks molested her at the bar. Caspar helped her out. Since

they were both in a bad mood, they drink while venting their grievances. They were drunk. Although

they didn't have sex, they slept in each other's arms on the sofa in the private room.

When they woke up, they were both embarrassed.

They still didn't know what to say when they accidentally met again.

Caspar was calm. "You're here for lunch too?"

Laura nodded. "You too?"

"Yes."

"You alone?" Laura asked.

"No..."

Ryan ran out of the bathroom and Caspar held his hand. "Did you wash your hands?"

Ryan nodded.

Laura stood there and frowned slightly. "This is your..."

"He's my uncle." Laura wanted to ask was Ryan his child? But Ryan answered before she asked.

Laura inexplicably relaxed. She didn't know why she would feel that way. She smiled. "What's your

name?"

"Ryan." He answered with his big black eyes wide open.

Caspar didn't want to have much contact with her, so he excused himself and said, "Ryan hasn't taken

anything yet. Farewell."

Laura followed, "I'm also hungry. Shall I join you?"

Caspar frowned and didn't want to. After all, they weren't very close, and he just wanted to stay with

Ryan today.

Laura smiled. "If you don't say anything, I'll take it as your acquiescence."

Caspar looked at her. "But we have already eaten some."

Laura shrugged her shoulders. "I don't mind."

When she got to their table, Laura looked at the food and sighed. "You two can eat all these?"

Only now did Ryan realize that he had ordered so many dishes.

Laura sat on Ryan's side and clenched her hands tightly. After a while, she asked, "Last time you left in

a hurry, so I didn't have time to ask your name."

Caspar took out a business card from his wallet and handed it to her with a faint expression.

Laura took it happily and looked at the name on it. After that, she smiled more brightly. "You're a

lawyer?"

She seemed to be very surprised at Caspar's job. When she was in college, she wanted to apply for

the department of law, but her family disagreed and let her take the civil service exam. She had always

been a good girl, so she listened to her family's advice.

Laura compressed her lips, expecting Caspar to ask her some questions. But Caspar did not ask when

the meal was almost finished.

Laura was a little disappointed. "Why didn't you ask me my name?"

Caspar asked, "What's your name?"

She answered with a smile, "Laura."

Caspar nodded perfunctorily.

He was not interested in her at all. From the beginning to the end, he hardly looked at Laura. He paid

all his attention to Ryan.

After lunch, Caspar held Ryan's hands. "We're leaving now."

Laura nodded. Although she wanted to get in touch with Caspar, she couldn't stand Caspar's

indifference and say that she would like to join them no matter how thick-skinned she was.

During the meal, Caspar didn't even look at her. She sensed Caspar's rejection. Laura took a deep

breath and stood up with her bag, only to find she had just forgotten something.

Caspar's watch was still in her bag.

Laura took it out and carefully observed it. She could imagine that he was serious and invincible when

standing in court.

Then she laughed self-mockingly. Maybe she thought too much.

She had never been successful in her relationship. She used to have a crush on Xavier, but she knew

that she couldn't get engaged to Xavier. She listened to her family's arrangement and got engaged to

Rufus, someone she didn't love but decided to make do with. She thought that she would spend the

rest of her life with him and that's all, but she didn't expect this to fail.

Something happened to the Gates Family and the engagement was canceled.

She thought, how could she be so unlucky?

She put the watch back and stood up.

Then she left the restaurant.

[In the hospital.]

Arya contacted Cullen's deputy and said she wanted to see Cullen.

Cullen still felt uncomfortable since he just accepted an operation. Now that Arya could come to visit

him, Cullen would be very happy. The Deputy told Arya the address of the hospital.

She then got into Orlando's car and went to the hospital where Cullen was in.

Cullen looked pale. After all, he was old, and it took time for him to recover from the operation, but

when he heard the Deputy say that Arya would come to see him, he was in a particularly good mood

and sat at the bedside waiting for Arya.

The car was parked in the hospital. Orlando adjusted her clothes. "It's not long after you gave birth. You

can't catch a cold. In fact, you just have to tell me and I'll do it for you."

Arya glanced at him calmly. "You can help me with the company, but it's my personal matter."

She had to tell Cullen her decision personally.

Orlando curled his lips and was unhappy. "Don't treat me as an outsider."

Arya glanced at him. "I will ask you to send me here if I think you are an outsider?"

Indeed. She asked him instead of Xavier to send her here.

Previously, she and Xavier were pretty close. Why was there a gap between them? Logically speaking,

Arya gave birth to a daughter for him and they should be even sweeter.

Orlando was puzzled. He looked carefully at Arya and asked tentatively, "Did you and Xavier argue?"

Arya's expression changed. Xavier was right. If it were her, she might have made the same choice. She

didn't plan to break up with Xavier. She just wanted to stay alone for a while.

"No." She looked at Orlando. "Are you cursing me?"

Orlando raised his hand and swore, "Absolutely not. Of course, I want you to be happy. If you are

happy, I will be happy."

Arya looked at him and looked into his eyes. What did he mean? All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.

Arya held him. "Orlando, you..."
