Chapter 163 The Person He Cared About Most (Part One)

Wilson saw that Cherry's expression changed a little. He then glanced at her phone and saw Jackson's

name on the screen. He just kept silent and didn't comment.

Cherry quickly said, "Wilson, I have to answer my phone."

Wilson nodded.

Cherry then walked with her phone in her hand to answer it on the balcony.

"Hello."

"Are you in bed now?" asked Jackson in a gentle voice.

"No, not yet, " replied Cherry.

"Well, " said Jackson, "Did Selina tell you about the business trip?"

As soon as Cherry heard Jackson's words she realized that he had found out about the trip. She

replied, "Yes, she told me about it in the morning, and she also told me that you and Derek might be

coming too."

"Derek and I haven't been busy recently. I think that it will be nice if we can go there together, " said

Jackson.

Jackson was telling her that he would go, and Cherry decided she would come too.

"Okay, you can tell Selina that I'm also coming, " said Cherry.

"Honey!" cried Jackson in surprise, "Did you say yes?"

Selina had already told him that Cherry hadn't made up her mind yet whether she would go with them

or not, but now… Was she actually going to go with them on the trip?

Cherry paused for a moment, and said, "Yes."

"Well, I'll tell Selina about it and ask her to book tickets, " said Jackson cheerfully.

Cherry suddenly stopped Jackson and said, "Wait a minute! I'll personally talk with Selina about it

tomorrow."

Jackson had no choice but to obey her words. As long as she was willing to go together with him it

didn't matter who would tell Selina about it. Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

"Okay, it's up to you, " said Jackson dotingly. He then continued, "Why didn't you go to sleep yet?"

"I'll go to bed later, I've just had a talk with my brother, " said Cherry.

"What's the matter? Is there anything wrong?" asked Jackson. He was particularly concerned about

Cherry, and he was still a little unhappy when he remembered that Cherry had asked John to help her

deal with Wilson's troubles instead of him.

"No, everything is okay. It was just a talk about some household affairs, " quickly said Cherry.

"Okay."

Cherry felt that she didn't have much to talk with Jackson, so she gently said to him, "Jackson, I'm a

little tired and want to go to bed now. Goodnight."

"Okay, goodnight honey!" replied Jackson.

After she hung up, Cherry walked back into the living room. She found that Wilson had already gone to

his bedroom, so she did the same thing.

In the following morning, Cherry was called into Selina's office as soon as she arrived at the office.

Cherry knew exactly what Selina was going to ask her, so when she stood in front of her, she said

without any sort hesitation, "Miss Selina, I've decided that I'll come with you on the business trip."

"Really? You'll come with us?" asked Selina in a very expectant tone. She was also surprised that

Cherry had taken the initiative to talk about it first.

"Yes, " said Cherry while nodding in the same time.

"That's great!" said Selina, delighted. She then stood up from her desk and walked up to Cherry. "My

brother and Jackson also promised that they would come too. It's such a rare opportunity for us to go

on a trip together. I think we should enjoy ourselves!"

Cherry replied by gently nodding to her.

Selina continued, "Hand over all your work you have for today to Caroline and she will help you finish it.

I'll book the tickets and make the hotel reservations for our trip."

"Okay, " said Cherry. She had to obey Selina's words because, after all, she was her boss.

Cherry took the whole day to deal with her own work and to make preparations for the business trip.

They were set to leave together tomorrow, and she was very happy of the fact that Jackson would

accompany her, but in the same time she was also a little sad, because she couldn't be with her son for

some time.

The next day, Cherry didn't go to the company, but instead went straight to the airport. When she

arrived there, Derek, Jackson and Selina had already arrived and were waiting for her. She walked

over to them and stood next to Jackson.

Jackson naturally held her into his arms when she was beside him.

Neither Derek nor Selina were surprised by his action. They regarded it as a normal thing, and Selina

cheerfully said, "Hooray! Let's have a good time together!"

"Jackson, this is a good chance for you to get along better with Cherry. Enjoy it!" said Derek with a big

smile on his face.

Cherry became a little shy when she saw Derek's smirk, but Jackson didn't say anything; it seemed

that he was satisfied with Derek's words.

While they were on the plane, Derek and Selina were in the front row and Jackson and Cherry behind

them. Jackson looked at Cherry, and asked, "Would you like to sleep for some time?"

"No, not now, " said Cherry.

"Are you bored? How about reading some magazines?" asked Jackson in a kind and very considerate

manner.

Cherry was a bit flattered, because she was not used to him acting like that. She then turned to

Jackson, looked into his eyes, and said, "You don't need to take care of me all the time."

Jackson promptly took Cherry in his arms, and said, "You're my woman, and I'll always have to take

good care of you!"

As Cherry looked at the people around them she freed herself from Jackson's arms. She said, "Stop it!

We're on the plane."

"Why can't I hug you? After all, you are my wife, " said Jackson in an arrogant tone.

Cherry felt a little helpless and didn't know what to say anymore. "You…"

On the plane, they didn't have too many intimate moments, because of Cherry's resistance. Jackson

had no choice but to follow Cherry's words. He was so eager to show his affections towards Cherry, but

he was constantly refused by her. He felt wronged, but he had made up his mind to do whatever he

wanted to Cherry as soon as he had the opportunity.

When they got off the plane, there was already a special car from the hotel waiting for them outside.

They got inside the car and then went to the hotel.

As soon as they arrived there, Jackson said that they would first have a three-day rest. He then took

Cherry's hand and went with her straight to their room.
