Chapter 164 The Person He Cared About Most (Part Two)

After they left, Derek said to Selina, "It seems that Jackson is a little upset."

"It must be because of Cherry. Don't worry about it, they can handle it by themselves, " said Selina.

"Well, then let's enjoy our vacation and leave them alone." Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

"Good, I can't agree with you more on this, " cheerfully replied Selina. She was very happy that her

dear brother had the same ideas as she did.

Jackson took Cherry into their room, pushed her directly onto the bed, and then threw himself on her.

"Jackson, let me go!" protested Cherry.

Jackson had no intention of letting her go. He closely stared at her, and asked, "Why did you act like

that on the plane?"

"It wasn't convenient for us on the plane, and what's more, there were also other people around us.

How could you behave like that?" quickly said Cherry. She was very angry with him, because he didn't

know how to behave himself while they were in public spaces.

"Is it convenient for us now?" continued Jackson. He had no intention of letting her go.

Cherry saw his roguish look in his eyes, and realized that it was impossible for her to reason with him.

Cherry waited for a moment and calmed herself down. She then looked at him, and said, "Jackson,

we've just got off the plane. Could we rest first? We'll be staying here for several days. Why are you in

such a hurry?"

After Jackson heard Cherry's words, he thought to himself, 'Her words seem to be reasonable enough.

She's right, I have a lot of chances ahead, and there's no need for me to be in such of a hurry. We've

been on the plane for such a long time and she surely must be tired. I have to let her rest.'

Jackson didn't let Cherry go until he kissed her.

Cherry then got up quickly, looked around the room they were staying and spent some time to see it's

layout. She then said to Jackson, "I'm going to take a shower. Meanwhile, you can go and ask Selina at

what time we'll have dinner together."

"Okay, " said Jackson, as he walked over to the sofa and sat on it.

After Cherry walked into the bathroom, Jackson took out his phone and dialled Derek's phone number.

When the call was connected, Jackson asked Derek to come to his room for a short conversation.

When Derek arrived to Jackson's room he saw that he was alone. Worried, he asked, "Where's

Cherry?"

Jackson moved his eyes towards the bathroom's door, and said, "She's taking a shower."

Derek was still a little worried, and as he approached Jackson, he whispered, "Can she hear us talk?"

Jackson however didn't care about that, and replied, "Go ahead. Even if she hears us, it doesn't

matter."

Derek was used to obey Jackson's orders, so he didn't worry about it any longer. He then sat on a

couch opposite to Jackson, and said, "When will we meet Bobby's friend?"

"What did Bobby tell you before we left?" asked Jackson.

Derek seriously said, "He only told me that his friend was in this city and that he had already told him

that we would be here today. I'm sure that his friend must have already found out where we live and

how long we'll be staying here. Both the tickets and the hotel were booked by Selina, but because

she's such a simple girl, she didn't know how to hide her tracks. If anyone wants to investigate into our

current whereabouts, they're easy to find out."

Jackson sat on the couch ruminating on something. After a while, he said to Derek, "Let's find a proper

time and meet with him. Be careful not to let Selina and Cherry find out about it!"

"Got it, " said Derek, knowing exactly what Jackson was worried about. He then continued, "I'll take

care of it."

Jackson nodded.

Derek was still a little worried. He seriously looked at Jackson, and asked, "Jackson, are you really not

going to tell Cherry anything about it? I'm afraid that one day, when Cherry finds out about it, she won't

be able to bear the truth..."

Jackson kept silent and didn't comment on his words.

After some time of pondering, Jackson sighed, and said, "Let's talk about it later."

Derek saw the worried look in Jackson's eyes, and didn't say anything more.

"Get ready for dinner together with Selina, " suddenly said Jackson.

"Okay, I'm going to tell Selina about it and ask her to arrange it for us, " said Derek as he stood up from

the couch about to leave.

Jackson nodded.

After Derek left, Jackson focused all of his attention on the bathroom's door again. Cherry was the

person that he cared about the most in the world, and except for her, he cared about nothing else.

When Cherry came out of the bathroom, Jackson had almost fallen asleep on the lounge chair in front

of the floor-to-ceiling window. He felt very tired, both physically and mentally, because there were so

many things that he needed to deal with and also so many things that involved him. He couldn't escape

from any of them, and all that he could do was to face them.

Cherry approached Jackson and then closely looked at him. Jackson's slightly closed eyes and his

outline were so perfect that Cherry was almost lost in his handsomeness. Resisting to his charming

traits was more than a challenge to her.

All of a sudden, Jackson felt a lovely scent, and he immediately recognized that it was Cherry's. He

slowly opened his eyes and saw that Cherry was standing beside him and looking at him.

"Are you done with the shower?" asked Jackson.

"Yes, are you tired?" said Cherry as she squatted beside him and took his hands into hers.

"No, I'm just a little bored. I fell asleep here while I was waiting for you, " said Jackson.

Cherry didn't say too much after that.
