Mistake with the Alpha

Mistake With The Alpha Chapter 153

Diana's

POV

After Zul left, I was about to start doing my thing. Zul had spent days with me before his duties were called at home. He was the one who helped me to learn more about the blue wolf and I saw a lot of things. I had plainly told Zul that I was going to be part of those who compete for the blue wolf's heart. Thankfully, Zul wasn't interested. I wasn't surprised because Zul is one who is never thirsty for power. He had always loved his hidden self. But I, Diana, I love power. The first thing about me is power and the next is food. I was examining my things that afternoon. Just then I sensed something really powerful. It shooed my body as it came. This was quite strange. So I started to look through my things to see where that happened. Getting to where I kept the other part of the mandrake that my sister gave to me, I didn't find anything in there. The mandrake root has disappeared. "Found this book interesting? If you're not on Jobb.o, you're missing the real experience. Someone's copied this content! Visit Jobb. for authentic, up-to-date information directly from us." The pot that I kept it in was burnt black. This isn't supposed to be. Who could have done it? Even if it was done with its work, it shouldn't get burnt. Moreover it's too fast to have

already done it's work.

I need to get to my sister at this moment so as to tell her what happened. This is her work and there's nothing I can do about it. I didn't wait a second in the cave. I teleported to my sister's place.

"Why are you so disturbed?" My sister asked me immediately as I walked in.

She didn't even look at me. She was burning a leave black.

“Ashanti, the mandrake root you gave to me as the one I should use to monitor the one we gave to the Sunclad Alpha, it got burnt to ashes" I cried out.

My sister stiffened. I could see that my news was also a surprise to her. She stopped what she was doing and looked at me.

"That's not possible," she said firmly.Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

"It happened in Ashanti. It happened not quite long again. I just sensed that something evaporated. I didn't even know that it was the mandrake root at first. Until I got there and saw that it had been burnt into ashes. "Who could have done this?" My sister asked.

Since I don't know the answer to it, I didn't reply. She stood up from where she was seated and then went to her large put. I quickly fell beside her to see who it was that would do such a thing.

"Li... ooo..... ti...." She chanted and touched the water in the pot.

Then the person who did it appeared. Seeing the person I couldn't believe my eyes. I then looked again. I discovered that it was the Alpha hybrid that captured me when I was trying to get the Alpha's mate whom I now refer to as the blue wolf burnt by the stake. He was the person who ruined the plan. But then I didn't know that he was this powerful to destroy a mandrake root. It's a magic of the ancient times and this got isn't even a hundred year old talk more of ancient.

"I know this boy," I said to my sister.

My sister didn't even stop staring at the pot. I then decided to continue talking about what the boy she's staring at did to me.

"He was the one who ruined my plan at conquering the Sunclad pack. I didn't know what his business was. Well he got so lucky then because I know he's no match for me" I said with pride.

"He didn't get lucky" my sister's shaky voice came.

"Huh" I looked at her.

It was then I noticed that something was definitely wrong. My sister was already shaking so much. I know it was anger because this is not the first time I've seen her go into her rage. But what got her this angry I didn't know. My sister's face was very dark with anger that I had to move back in case she felt like breaking things.

As if I knew. My sister started her destructive shout. Her yes was also removing fire while her shout began to crack things aggressively. There wasn't a single breeze inside but then her hair stood as if it had been blown by the whirlwind.

I wondered why so much anger just on the destruction of a mandrake root. Even the person that I'm linked to didn't get angry this much. But then I corrected myself. My sister's anger shouldn't be because of that. I'll definitely be more than destroying the mandrake root.

I scurried to a corner and watched her as she flew into a rage. I dare not move close, else I'll be hurt in the process. I don't even have any time to waste in treating wounds. The one that gave me hasn't fully healed. When I saw that she wasn't angry any more and was already putting her things back in place with her magic, that was when I came out.

"Zu... zu.... ki..... lin.... to... puora" she said.

Then everything that was destroyed starts to come back to place. Even those that were shattered into pieces that couldn't be gathered any more became whole. That was the spell of rearranging. Well I rarely destroy my things so I seldom use them.

My sister sat down as she watched those things go back to their formal state. Her look was very sad that I knew I was right about her getting angry about another thing. I sat in front of her and watched her wallow in pain. What happened must have been something that caused her so much pain. I just sat there quietly not able to say a word. "That boy you saw just now, has hurt me really badly" she finally decided to talk after a while of brooding.

She's definitely talking about the witch hybrid that was shown in her pot right now. He was the same boy that caged my powers and captured me. If not for the undoing spell that saved me, I'll have been dead by now. How come he's just hurting family.
