Mistake with the Alpha

Mistake With The Alpha Chapter 154

Diana's

POV

"The witch hybrid?" I decided to ask even though I knew that he's the one she was talking about.

I would have doubted my sister, saying that what can a witch hybrid do to a full-fledged witch, but then, I've tasted his powers once. I'm speaking from experience, he seems to be quite stronger than anyone can imagine. I thought that he got lucky because I couldn't attribute its strength to anything. Now that my sister is also talking about him, he should be indeed strong.

"Yes, the hybrid," my sister said between gritted teeth.

It was as if she's going to go into another rage. But in the end she didn't. She just talked.

"He was the one who destroyed my powers and made me a less ranked witch" she said.

Now I remember. My sister Ashanti, used to be a very powerful witch and the most sorted among all witch kingdoms. Nothing is too hard for her to do. She had never failed before and she's the envy of most females and even some senseless male. But then something tragic happened to her.Content property of NôvelDra/ma.Org.

This tragedy was when it was said that she went on a very simple mission and she failed. She didn't only fail, she also lost her powers in the process. That didn't quite move my sister, but the fact that she lost to a little boy. A boy who is so young, also a hybrid. He was so little that even his wolf hadn't come out. This was the height of disgrace and shame.

My sister Ashanti, who has never been defeated by even a high ranked wolf, was brought down by a small little hybrid boy. This was a shame at its peak. Everyone in town spoke about it. She was so hurt that she lost every bit of her powers and the one left is just like a child starting training on how to use and control their powers.

Yes, my sister had to start from the beginning like a child. Enduring pain and shame all those years. It wasn't so easy for her. That was when she almost killed me when I made the mistake I made. If not for the fact that she's not so powerful, I would have died by her hands.

This broke my sister that she wouldn't even live like normal people for years. She even changed her name to Liza. She didn't want to remember the tragedy that befell Ashanti. But now seeing the one who made her that way again, all the rage and pain came back. I could see all in her eyes. She just felt like hand picking the boy from the post and making him suffer.

I wouldn't blame her for acting this raged. She had been looking for the so-called witch hybrid for years now. And now that he finally surfaced, it was to destroy her work again. Even if I'm the one, I'll almost pull the earth down with my rage.

"Do you know where he is?" My sister asked.

Her voice was low and it was the aftermath of her rage.

"Yes I do".

"Where is he?"

"For now he's at Sunclad pack" I replied.

I looked at her carefully as if I'm examining her expression. It'll be a very bad idea if she says she wants to go to the Sunclad pack to look for this witch hybrid. She'll be captured in minutes. The Sunclad pack has an Alpha that magic doesn't work on and also a blue wolf and a mate. They'll join forces to kill her.

"Are you planning to go there?" I asked.

I was very scared for her in my heart if she tried to say yes. Even if I want to help her there's nothing I can do about it. I wouldn't want to be killed because of someone else's rage. She might have recovered her powers back and grown strong in the years but then, she hasn't fully healed from the near death injuries that she got during the fight years ago. Any mistake from her, they'll tear open immediately and that'll be so bad. Not even her powers would be able to heal her.

My sister shook her head.

"No, it'll be too dangerous," she said sadly.

I sighed a sigh of relief. Thank goodness she was able to know that. That's a good idea for her.

"The time to fight him is not now," she said sadly.

I really pitied her. She's been looking for her enemy all the while and now that she found him, she couldn't even still fight him. My sister got from where she was seated and moved to the pot. That smart pit where she had seen her enemy. I had thought that she wouldn't go near it even today. But then she proved me wrong. "Let's see how he was able to know about the bead before he destroyed it" my sister said.

My sister has always wanted to study the witch hybrid's magic but all the while, she couldn't even find him to talk more about studying his magic. This seems to be an opportunity for her to get what she's been looking for for years. "Shila... shi..... ki... bana...... ter re ra..... tro.... tro... Mi lan.... mandra.... mandrake.... mandrel.... ti qui qui..... Ti qui"my sister chanted.

Seeing her pain, I know that I'd support her big time this time around. I wouldn't let her fight this war alone. The boy might have weakened her body then but there's definitely a solution to everything. I think it's time to pay my sister back for the pain and loss I've caused her. This time, I'm going to support her to bring that witch hybrid down at all cost.

Seeing him appear again in her pot made my hatred for him grow. The blue wolf appeared in my sister's viewing pot. She was lying down and the mandrake was doing its job but then something was quite unusual.

She isn't supposed to see the one chanting neither is she supposed to get weak at that time. The mandrake was supposed to draw her strength little by little. It's all a slow process, not a fast one.

"Why did the process become this fast? Is it because she's pregnant?" I asked my sister.
