Chapter 580 Chloe Gave Birth

Bailey snapped, "Use the simplest and the most effective way. I don't want my wife to suffer anymore."

"OK." Text © by N0ve/lDrama.Org.

The doctor quickly arranged the painless delivery for Chloe.

Soon, Chloe felt much better.

Bailey breathed a sigh of relief.

"Don't worry, Chloe. I'm always with you."

Chloe nodded.

However, much to his surprise, Chloe cried out in pain shortly after.

Bailey panicked. "Doc, didn't you say it was painless delivery. Why does she still suffer?"

"Mister, it is painless delivery, but it only relieves the pain instead of making it entirely painless. It's the

best medical way to help the pregnant woman."

Bailey almost grabbed his hair, wishing to share the pain with Chloe.

Outside the delivery room, others had all arrived.

Chloe was the first one whose delivery was watched by others.

When Sophia gave birth to Bonnie, she wanted to hide it from others, so she did it secretly. Her family

and friends in Pinkerton didn't know about it until shortly after Bonnie was born.

Drake had never experienced such a matter. However, for some reason, he felt as tense as Bailey.

Chloe cried so loudly that all the people outside heard it. Drake gripped Sophia's hand. "Did it hurt so

much when you gave birth to Bonnie?"

Bonnie was also curious to know, staring at Sophia thoughtfully.

Sophia smiled brightly at them. "Of course. I might be better, as it only took me five hours to give birth

after I got the symptoms. I wasn't tortured long."

"Five hours?" It was out of Drake's imagination. "You suffered like this for five hours?"

"Not exactly. In the beginning, I felt birth pangs, which happened every 20 minutes. Soon, it happened

every several minutes. In the end, it hurt too much."

Drake had heard others talking about the delivery pain but had never experienced or watched it

personally. Therefore, he had never thought it was so painful, and the pain would last so long.

Though he had a better understanding of the delivery pain because of Sophia's words, he could never

experience it.

He gripped her hand tightly. "Thank you, Sophia."

Bonnie also put her chubby hand in Sophia's. "Thank you, Mommy."

Sophia stroked Bonnie's cheek gently.

"I feel happy to give birth to you, Bonnie. You are a gift from heaven to Papa and Mommy."

Bonnie crawled onto the bench and sat between her parents. She pecked Sophia and Drake.

"I love you the most, Papa, Mommy. I love you very much."

Drake held his wife and daughter tightly.

He had never thought about those things before. After Bonnie existed, he realized he had a family. He

was willing to do everything for them.

From the corner of her eyes, Sophia seemed to see someone sneaking away. However, she didn't

recognize who it was, nor did she take it seriously.

Chloe had been in the delivery room for almost four hours but still had no sign of giving birth.

No one left.

Travis had witnessed the delivery process before. Looking at Helena, he surprisingly suggested, "Shall

we become DINK?"

His mother had given birth to many children. Helena was also not the only child in the Warburg family.

He would rather let Gloria continue the Warburg family line than see Helena suffer from delivery.

Helena glared at him, which she had never done before.

"You will not be the one giving birth. I will. Why are you so afraid?"

Travis was aggrieved.

"Because I don't want you to bear such pain. I'm fine with it if I'm the one giving birth."

"It's too late. You've never taken any birth control measurement. Probably I've been pregnant already."

Travis had almost forgotten about it.

He didn't use any measurements because they had got the marriage license. Also, if Helena was

pregnant, she wouldn't have the heart to be separated from him. Travis admitted that he had selfish

motives back then.

Yet he quit the idea of letting Helena have a baby when he recalled Sophia's delivery and saw Chloe's.

He didn't want Helena to suffer like that.

"Let's have a checkup now. If you haven't been pregnant, let's have birth control from now on."

Helena didn't move at all. "Dream on! If you don't want a baby, let's divorce."

Travis gaped at her in disbelief.

In his memory, Helena wasn't a submissive girl, but she had never been so aggressive. Travis didn't

know whether to laugh or cry.

"You can even divorce me just for a baby, huh?"

"Right. I always wish to have children. I don't fear the pain. Other women can bear it. Why can't I?"

Travis couldn't convince her at all. If he insisted, Helena would be angry certainly. Thus, he buttoned

his lip.

A few hours passed, but Chloe still hadn't shown any sign of giving birth.

People were anxious while waiting outside. All of them had seen her in the delivery room in groups, but

she still didn't succeed.

Men might not understand why, but women did.

Besides, a doctor told them it was a baby boy of a considerable size, so it would take more time.

Drake was amazed. "How could they simply tell us the baby's gender?"

Sophia chuckled, "The baby will be born soon. The parents cannot dump it. So they told us the

gender."

"There will be no surprise, then."

Drake was like a fool.

Sophia laughed loudly. "What else surprise do you want? Isn't it surprising enough?"

Suddenly, Drake remarked, "Fortunately, Bonnie was born earlier. Or, they would suggest a child

betrothal."

Sophia was shocked by his words, shaking her head resignedly.

She had never thought about the child betrothal before. Besides, she knew clearly that children were

just joking about arranging a marriage for children and they didn't really mean it.

After all, no one could predict what the babies would like after growing up.

However, Drake was against the child betrothal and didn't want to hear anyone mention it. He

treasured Bonnie greatly and saw everyone who suggested the child betrothal as his foes. Sophia

didn't know whether to laugh or cry every time she faced such a situation.
