The Cherished Wife

Chapter 534

"Parker?" George nodded. "He was my student, but he left Faris years ago. Do you know him, Ms. Shaw?"

George's gaze shifted slightly as he looked at Noelle, especially when she nodded in response. "That's great! I haven't seen Parker in ages and have been wondering how he's doing!"

"He's doing well!" Noelle smiled. "Mr. Click, you probably haven't been to Westel for a few years, right? Mr. Parker is now at Collosus Group, and he's actually my boss! He was supposed to visit today, but Mr. Parker hasn't been feeling well these past few days, so he couldn't make it."

"That's not an issue; there will be plenty of chances to meet later."

As they spoke, Ronald drove the car into the villa area. Since a pass was required to enter, Noelle had one already prepared and handed it to the guard. "No. 1808."Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.

"Oh, is this visit for Mr. Hoffman's villa? He hasn't visited in a long time." The security guard knew Charles as anyone who passed through this villa area generally had to be verified.

After they were cleared to enter, Noelle handed the pass to George for safekeeping. "This is one of my husband's properties, and no one usually comes here. You can stay comfortably, Mr. Click. All the toiletries are ready."

They got out of the car, and Ronald busied himself with helping, moving around like a perfect assistant.

Noelle chatted with George about Brian. It seemed George had a favorable impression of Brian, speaking fondly whenever his name came up. Noelle then unlocked the door. As they entered, Ronald guided George, Dani, and George's assistant upstairs to choose their rooms.

Meanwhile, Noelle went into the kitchen to check things over. Thankfully, she had arranged for the place to be cleaned the night before, and even the ingredients in the fridge were relatively fresh.

"Yo, look who's here?"

Noelle heard a familiar voice from outside. When she went to look, she found Sean leaning against the doorway with his arms crossed and a smirk in his eyes.

Sean seemed surprised to see Noelle there, just as Noelle was equally taken aback to run into him. "Mr. Smith?"

Sean raised an eyebrow. "Mm-hmm!

What's my favorite sister-in-law

doing here?" He stepped closer to Noelle, glancing around. "This villa has been empty for two years. assumed Charles finally came around to staying here. Where's Charles?"

"He's not here. He went to meet Peter!" Noelle replied, looking at Sean. "What about you? Why are you here?"

"See that over there?" Sean pointed to a villa a short distance away. "That's mine, No. 1806. After Peter eter developed this area, he gave each of us a villa. Mine's up front, and the one next to it belongs to Steven. But like Charles, he's never stayed there. Peter, too, rarely comes by."

Noelle nodded in understanding. "So, you don't live with the Smiths?"

Sean chuckled. "What's so strange about that? Charles doesn't live with the Hoffmans either!"

Sean then strolled around the living room. "So, what's the plan? Are you moving in? That'd be great. We'd be neighbors and could have some fun together. Maybe I could even drop by for a meal!"

Sean was clearly scheming

something. He glanced around the room and added, "The furniture's been here for two years, but since it's never been used, everything still looks new. No need to buy a whole new set."
