The Cherished Wife

Chapter 535

"Mr. Smith, I think you may have misunderstood," Noelle could not help but interrupt Sean. "We don't plan to move in here."

"Not moving in? Then why are you here today?"

Noelle pointed upstairs. "Charlie brought in a chief engineer from abroad who needs to stay in Brookville for a year. I thought staying in a hotel for that long wouldn't be ideal, so we went looking for a place.

"Charlie said this villa was empty, and it would be a waste not to use it."

"Tsk tsk, I bet this wasn't Charles's idea but yours!" Sean shook his head and gave her a thumbs-up. "Staying here not only makes the most of the property but also saves a lot on hotel expenses."

Noelle squinted her eyes but did not argue back.

"Honestly, Charles is lucky to have married you," Sean commented, patting the couch. "You said the chief engineer is here? Where is he?" "Ronald's showing them around upstairs, and I'm checking to see if we've missed anything," Noelle replied as she glanced around. "Would you like some tea?"

"You have tea?" Sean raised an eyebrow. "I thought there wouldn't be much here since you just moved in."

"That's not the case. We had everything prepared in advance. Charlie mentioned that Mr. Click is quite fond of Westel culture and knowledgeable about tea," Noelle said as she headed to the kitchen to find a tea set.

Sean got up and followed her. "Don't bother too much. I'm just here to check things out. This villa's been empty for quite a while. Anyway, I should get going. I just got off work and need some rest."

"You were on the night shift? And you just got back now?"

"Yeah, there was an unexpected surgery this morning. Anyway, let's catch up sometime with you and Charles. We can invite Peter and everyone. We'll have a little gathering!"

"Sure!"

Noelle walked Sean to the door and watched him enter his own villa before returning to the kitchen to pick out some nice teacups and boil water for tea.

Upstairs, Ronald was showing George around the rooms. George and Dani were particular about the lighting and design, so after analyzing their options, they finally chose their rooms.

George's assistant decided to stay in the adjacent room to better attend to George's needs.

With everything set, they all came

downstairs to find Noelle just finishing brewing the tea. "Mr. Click Ms. Hull, you all must be tired. Come have a cup of tea!" Noelle greet them and personally handed each of them a teacup.

Though George was a foreigner, he had been deeply interested in Westel culture since childhood, especially after taking Brian as a student. All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.

George took a sip of tea with proper etiquette, his eyes lighting up. "I didn't expect you to have such a refined skill, Ms. Shaw."

"You're too kind, Mr. Click. I'm just an

"To be honest, I'm embarrassed to say I was too focused on work during previous visits and never took the time to appreciate it." "Well, since you'll be here for a while, there's plenty of time to explore. Today, I'll take you to try some of Brookville's best cuisine!"
