Chapter 536
Noelle signaled to Ronald with a glance. George seemed very excited, but Dani appeared to be feeling unwell, so she stayed behind to rest. To accommodate her, Noelle had Ronald bring in a chef to serve George and his team.
Noelle first took George to lunch, and afterward, they visited Homestyle Garden House. As soon as they reached the entrance, George was already full of praise. The garden house was established by Noelle and Teresa, who both managed it personally.
The interior design and decor reflected their tastes, emphasizing tranquility and a traditional aesthetic that made the space feel incredibly comfortable.
George admired the surroundings as he said, "Westel culture is truly profound." He switched to Westelian when saying the word 'profound', though his pronunciation was awkward. It sounded a bit odd but amusing, showcasing his genuine effort.
Noelle nodded and walked ahead, introducing the place. "Mr. Click, you're too kind. My friend is inside, and you can have a good chat with her later. By the way, she majored in Farisian."
"Impressive!" George nodded in agreement. "Ms. Shaw, you and your friend are both remarkable women."
Just then, Teresa came out to greet them. She was dressed in a casual cotton-linen outfit that looked relaxed yet respectful.
The temperature inside the garden house was much warmer than outside, so Teresa wore only a few layers. Her long hair was loosely tied back with a simple band.
Teresa kept her head slightly bowed with a gentle smile gracing her face. "Noelle, you're here!"
"Yes, I told you I'd bring a guest today," Noelle responded, introducing George. "Mr. Click, this is my friend, Teresa."
"Hello, Mr. Click!" Teresa greeted with a slight bow and extended her hand warmly. George, being the gentleman he was, shook her hand courteously. "Hello, Teresa. I'm George!"
"Please, come in."
Teresa instructed the garden house attendant to prepare the tea set while she personally led Noelle and George into a private room. "Everything is ready. Mr. Click, do you have a preference for tea?"
"I'll go with whatever you recommend!"
Teresa glanced at Noelle, who nodded in agreement. "You decide."
Just then, Noelle's phone rang. She excused herself and stepped to the door to answer. "Hello, Mr. Parker?"
"You're with George today?" Brian's voice came from the other end.
Noelle nodded. "Yes. It's the weekend, so I'm showing Mr. Click around. What's up?"
"Where are you? I'll come find you."
Noelle gave him the address and turned back to see George and Teresa engaging in a lively
conversation in fluent Farisian, clearly enjoying themselves.
Noelle directed the attendant to set down the tea set and quietly began to boil water on the side.
George occasionally included her in the conversation, and the group shared a harmonious atmosphere.
"Teresa, have you been to Faris?" George asked.
"I've been there before, but mostly
just to explore!" Teresa replied with a
smile, accepting the teacup that Noelle passed to her. As she swirled the
tea in her hand, a knock on the door interrupted them.
Noelle got up to answer it.Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.
A man stood at the door with a coat draped over his arm, looking as though he had hurried over but still maintaining his composure and elegance. "Sorry I'm late."
