The Last Ceo’s Deal

Chapter 57: Haywire

A DEAL WITH THE CEO

Christine.

I was in a haywire!

I kept biting my lips and chewing on my nails at different Intervals as the image of Fanuel and blonde haired girl was plastered on my face and mind.

That was the reason why he was in a hurry, that was why he was acting so rude like a jerk!

Why do I feel so bad about it? I feel like I shouldn’t feel anything, I shouldn’t be swayed by whatever Fanuel does with his life since everything is temperamental.

I should act normal and know that Webb brought me here and accept whatever trash Fanuel does but it hurts.

It fucking hurts me to the core and I hate it.

Tears burns my eyes and my throat itched to a drink.

Especially a scotch.

I should drink my sorrows away and forget anything that I’m facing.

I wring my nose as I remember Alex…why the heck was that guy here in the first place?

I had left immediately I confirmed that Fanuel was with another bitch, I couldn’t risk knowing as seeing more scary things.

Gosh!; Why am I being delusional right now?

I guess Fanuel was right, I’m truly overstepping boundaries and looking for a fantasy that would never be fufilled.

Fanuel would never ever look at her talkless of wanting her. That dude sees her as nothing sort of a commodity to save his company.

The tears fall freely now as my heart clenched in pain as I cursed my step father.

Not only did he take my dignity, he trampled upon my pride and value as a lady.

I’m done!!

I should Focus on doing something valuable and stop being sentimental about everything.

I should accept the fact that this wicked, arrogant and hot jerk would never be mine…ever.

I should be free to flirt with others right?

I should also go out and kiss random hot guys out there, that could Quel this nonsense anger I feels anytime she sees him with another.

My phone vibrated and picked it without hesitating.

“Christine?..” Laurel whispers voice came through and I sighed in surprise.

“Oh Laurel…are you okay? How are you feeling…. where are you?” I kept rambling without even letting her answer one.

“I’m fine girlie.. just missing you.”

“Stat put okay? I’ll be back soon before you know it.”

“I know, is your husband around?”

“Drop it Laurel, it irks me when you ‘my husband’ I could puke you know?”

Laurel chuckled at the other end.

“You’re stuck baby girl, he’s your husband. So tell me..”

“Tell you what?”

“Your first night dummy…I want to know how cling onto him moaning your brains out.”

I face palm myself and shook my head, Laurel’s truly unbelievable.

“Okay, I’ll tell you the details.”

“Yay, can’t wait.”This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.

“So I met this hot dangerous guy in this villa, got drunk to stupor to stumble with an angry Fanuel. Slept and woke up with a bad migraine…happy now?”

I grinned when I heard her gasped.

“No fucking way?!”

“Yeah, I bet that should be romantic enough right.”

“Why would you drink on your first night? It would clearly piss him off, by the way, is he in?”

“Nope, I guess he missed New Jersey so much that he couldn’t wait to go back and see his ex..”

“Shit…Mirabel?”

She asked and bit my lips painfully and nodded as if she was actually there with me.

That blond haired girl happened to be Mirabel, the side view was convincing enough.

“I’m sorry Christine.”

“You don’t need to, I saw these coming but you guys where hell bent on making me flustered about Fanuel”

“I thought…. I.. Jeez!! I don’t even want to imagine Jayden with another bitch , I will scream my lungs out talkless of my husband whether it’s a fake or not!”

I chuckled.

“I’m glad you’re okay Laurel.”

“Me too, about that chandelier stuff…. I think it’s…”

Fanuel burst in that moment and saw the phone plastered to my ear.

“I.. I’ll call you back.. Laurel.”

I cut the call and ignore his presence totally, making sure I avoided contact with him.

I could feel his eyes burning my entire self and I stooo up to go to anywhere in particular as long as I’m out of his sight.

“Why the fuck where you with Alex yesterday?”

“…….”

“I believe I just asked you a question and why the hell did you drink?”

“I’m entitled to whatever drink of my choice, are you also going to threaten the drinks or blackmail me into not drinking any again?”

Fanuel sighed and close his while I stared at him Intently.

“Alex?”

“I didn’t know he was the one, I wish I knew earlier…I would have kissed those juicy lips of his.”

His eyes glared in anger as he whipped his head up at me at once.

“You’re riling me up Christine…. it’s really dumb.”

“You don’t want me near him cause he’s cuter and sexier or you’re just finding every excuse to shackle me in your confused and possessive world.”

I yell at him and and he walked closer.

“Think whatever you want to think, but let that be that last time I will see you drinking or ever going close to Alex!!

He yelled and I bit my lips and ignored him. It was pointless arguing with him but it will be useless adhering to his stupid rules. I’m already bearing the cross by marrying him but I won’t sit like a fool and watch him have all the whole fun and control me like a robot.

He was about opening his mouth to say something else when the loud know distracted us both.

Fanuel looked at me and there my face away, I didn’t remember ordering for a room service or calling anyone.

My heart accelerated at the thought of Alex poking his head in this room. It would be bloody.

Fanuel hesitated before moving over to open the door and his countenance changed dangerously.

“Edward?”

“hmm..?”

I sighed in relief as I watched Edward walking majestically with that killer smile on his face of his, ignoring Fanuel.

“Hi Christine, are you okay?” He asked with concern as worry laced his face making sure to hid it from Fanuel who was now facing him.

“I’m o….”

“I sternly warned you not to come!! What’s this Edward?” Fanuel’s voice was dangerously calm as he cut me off but I could feel the anger from his voice.

Edward grinned and turned to look at him.

“I just wanted to make sure you didn’t commit murder.”
