The Mafia’s Third Wife: Between The Devil’s Triangle

His Downfall

As we returned to the safety of their hideout. Anisa’s mind was clouded with worry. Seeing her daughter’s troubled expression, Raven decided to have a heart to heart conversation.

“Hey there Kiddo.” Raven began gently

“You’ve been awfully quiet. Is everything alright?”

Anisa sighed, her eyes reflecting her inner turmoil.

“Not really. I can’t help but think about my mother. She went back to my father, and I’m just not sure if she’ll be safe there.”

Raven placed a reassuring hand on Anisa’s shoulder.

“I understand your concern, Anisa. It’s natural to worry about the ones we love.

We’ll do everything we can to keep her safe, and I believe she’ll find a way to reach out to us when the time is right.”

“What if something happens to her. You know the type of person my father is. He loves power more than his family. I mean he didn’t hesitate to give me to his political ally Don Rizzo.

Won’t he kill her if he finds out she knows too much and wants to leave him?” Anisa asked.

Raven listened carefully to Anisa’s fears, her eyes filled with empathy.

“I understand your concerns, Anisa,” she replied. “Your father’s actions have shown us just how ruthless he can be.

But your mother, she made a choice to leave with the guards. That’s a sign of strength. She wants to protect you and your brother, just like you want to protect her.”

Anisa nodded, her worry still evident.

“I know she’s strong, but my father can be so controlling and manipulative. He might have ways to keep her from reaching out to us.”

Raven squeezed Anisa’s shoulder gently. “We won’t let her down, Anisa. We have resources and allies who can help keep an eye on her.

And we’ll find a way to communicate with her safely. Remember, you’re not alone in this.

We’re a team, and we’ll do whatever it takes to bring your father and Don Rizzo to justice.”

Anisa managed a faint smile, appreciating Raven’s reassurance.

“Thank you, Raven. I know I can count on you and the team. We have to stop them and make sure they can’t hurt anyone else.”

Raven smiled back at Anisa, her determination matching the young woman’s.

“That’s the spirit, kiddo. We’re in this together, and we’ll see it through to the end.”

“I’m sorry for everything my father did to you and your family. I didn’t know that my father was that kind of person.

I always thought he was an amazing father, but finding out that he killed my favoirte uncle Martinez and covered it up that he died in the line of duty is so damn terrible.

I can’t believe I’m related to him.” Anisa said.

Raven’s expression softened as she listened to Anisa’s heartfelt words.

“You don’t need to apologize for your father’s actions, Anisa. None of this is your fault.

People can be very different in public and in private. Sometimes, it takes a while to see their true colors.

And it’s never easy when someone you looked up to disappoints you.”

Anisa nodded, her eyes filled with tears.

“I just wish I had known the truth earlier. Maybe I could have stopped all this from happening.”

Raven shook her head gently.

“You can’t blame yourself, kiddo. None of us could have known. The important thing now is that we’re taking action to make things right.”

Anisa wiped away a tear and gave Raven a grateful smile.

“Thank you for being here, Raven. You and the team have given me hope.”

Raven patted Anisa’s shoulder.

“We’re here for you, Anisa, and we’re here to make sure your father and Don Rizzo face the consequences of their actions. You’re not alone in this fight.”

Anisa took a deep breath, her determination renewed.

“Let’s do it, Raven. Let’s bring them down and make sure justice is served.”

Raven nodded, her gaze steady. “We will, Anisa. We will.”

“Can you tell me somethings about your family before they died?” Anisa asked.

“But if you don’t wanna, it’s fine. I’m sorry for bringing it up. I know it’s not something you wanna talk about.”

“No…. it’s fine.” Raven said.

“Well, my father was an amazing father and he had power, but it wasn’t by killing people or manipulating or kissing politician’s feet, but because he cared about the people in the town. So a lot of people loved him and were always supporting him.

You see, women would bring their sons to him and ask him to lead them that their children wants to follow in his footsteps.” Raven said, a smile showing on her face.

“Wow… your father was like a hero.” Anisa said.

“You can say that again. He was my hero and he loved us so much. I remember when I was little and I had a presentation in school that requires a parent to show up and present with me.

My father showed up and we did the presentation together. It was so amazing and I got the highest score.” Raven said.

“Awwwwnn… that’s really nice. Your dad was really amazing, Raven.” Anisa said.

“He sure was, before your father Ramos betrayed my father and had my father and mother killed.

I barely escaped if not he would have killed me. But someone took me in and became like a uncle to me and took care of me like his own.

It was then we moved to this country and then Ramos moved here and started terrorizing people in this place as well.

He grew and had many political allies supporting him which gave him balls to terrorize the innocent.” Raven said.

Anisa felt a pang of guilt for the actions of her own father. She reached out and placed a comforting hand on Raven’s shoulder.

“I’m so sorry, Raven. I can’t imagine how painful that must have been for you.”

Raven managed a small smile.

“Thank you, Anisa. It means a lot that you understand. And now, we’re here to make sure Ramos and his allies face justice for what they’ve done.”

Anisa nodded in agreement. “We’ll make sure they pay for their crimes, Raven. You have my word.”

Raven appreciated Anisa’s understanding and determination. She knew they were in this fight together.

“Thank you, Anisa,” Raven replied, her voice filled with determination.

“With you by our side, we’re stronger than ever. We’ll bring them to justice, and your mother will be safe.”

Anisa’s eyes reflected her resolve.

“I won’t stop until we expose them and make sure they can’t hurt anyone else. Let’s do this, Raven.”

“Yeah, but let’s publish the article we were planning to publish first. Let’s go and meet the rest of the team shall we?” Raven said.

“Hey, Alfredo. Let’s publish the article and let the whole world see and know how wicked Don Rizzo is so that they won’t vote for someone like that into the leadership role of this country.”

“We are almost ready. Alejandro is going through it before we publish it. It an untraceble article and I’m sure that Don Rizzo would be surprise that he can’t delete or bribe anyone to delete the article since it’s not on any easy web that he could just bribe anyone to delete it.

The people should know who he really is.” Alfredo said.

Raven nodded in agreement with Alfredo’s words. “You’re absolutely right. We need to expose Don Rizzo’s true nature to the world. People should be aware of the kind of leader he could become.”

Anisa added, “And with the evidence we have, there’s no way he can hide from the truth.”

Alfonso, who had been quietly working on a computer, chimed in, “The article is ready to go.

Once we publish it, we’ll spread the word through social media and ensure it reaches as many people as possible.”

Alejandro, who had been reviewing the article, looked up and confirmed, “It’s untraceable, and we’ve taken every precaution to protect our identities.”

Raven gave a determined nod. “Let’s do it. It’s time to expose the criminals who have been hiding in plain sight.”

With a few keystrokes, the untraceable article exposing Don Rizzo’s criminal activities was sent into the depths of the internet, where it would soon be discovered by the public.

The team knew that this was just the beginning of their battle for justice……..Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
